HIST in Trondheim hosts a yearly scholarship program for good entrepreneur ideas.
We attended this year’s program with Corp Wars, got through the initial screening, got to present the idea and got nominated for the grand prize along with 4 others.

The result, you ask?

We walked out of there with 110’000 NOK or approximately $20’000 in cash!!
A great day for Kybernesis!

I’ve created a website for our game-in-development, Corp Wars. There’s not too much content there yet, but we have a short overview of the game, some concept art and even some screenshots from the technical prototype we finished during March.

We have just created a survey to better map some trends within the gaming industry as research for our game-in-development Corp Wars.
We will really appreciate it if you take the short time it takes to go through the survey and share it with any friends you know that play games.

Our host is shutting down *sob* so we’re currently in the process of migrating our sites to our new host.

The sites will therefore go through a period of uglyness before I get it all up and going like it should again.

On other news, we’ve abandoned the I/O game in favour of our new Massive Multiplayer Social Game, Corp Wars.
It will be set in our Post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk setting and will be released on Facebook.
A the time we’re still working on the prototype, but we have good faith in our concept and are sure that alot of you out there will love it too.

Art and screenies and stuff will come, so stay tuned!

We have had a couple hundred views of our project over at IndieGoGo,  no contributions as of yet, but we remain hopeful!

Our lead art director is working on some visual goodies for you all that we will show both here and on the IndieGoGo project, and our lead Programmer is working on getting a prototype working to show off to!

We have just started a funding project on IndieGoGo.

We’re currently working on the concept art and a prototype of the I/O game, so stay tuned and I will keep you posted with any updates, arts and screens.

Kybernesis has finally started on their first game, I/O(from Input/Output).

It will be a flash based game heavily influenced by games like Arkanoid and Space Invaders.
All development will be done with the PushButtonEngine.

Expected release is Q1 2011.
